I really thought our season was over. And then Gleason makes a play. Pitkanen makes a pass and Jokinen buries it. So i am thinking ok OT, i get a drink, and suddenly staal is on a breakaway and bam...we going to boston..

I haven't always been on the Cam Ward bandwagon, but I find this statement to be a little odd. He stopped 32 shots tonight and just had a shutout in game six.

Cam Ward has been playing exceptional hockey for a large portion of this season, especially the last month and half.

Other than that 3rd goal... the first 2 our guys were out of position. That 3rd goal he just was to close inside... if he would have played out... he would have stopped that, but who cares now... were on to round 2! When Ruutu scored the first I had a good feeling... since that was his first goal of the series. Now onto Boston. This one is going to be instresting since when we played them all 4 times we still hadnt brought in Cole and hit our strides. If we can split the 1st 2 games with them.. I think we can steal the series in 5! Brave I know, but comeon... no one is as good as brodeur... no one. Go Canes!

How long have you been watching hockey?? To have a .925 plus save percentage in the playoffs With a shutout, and the only goals he relly gives up are tips or screens.

He won a CONN SMYTHE TROPHY. That is a playoff MVP trophy.

do u realize this is only his 3rd or 4th year in the League???

He has keep us in games all season long. Especially the playoffs.

Everything you said happened 3 years ago. This is 2009 now. He isn't what he used to be and is inconsistent. This whole team is inconsistent!

Did you watch the same game I just Watched? Cam Had 6 odd man rushes in the 3rd come at him because we were cheating trying to get a goal. He stoped all 6 of them! We would have not won that game or that series without him. You want to talk about this year Cam had 39 wins this season that is the 3rd best in the NHL.

That's what im talking about though. He can allow 4 goals 1 game, then turn around and be stellar in another.
