Other than the offseason I was dreaming of Dameyune Craig of being the next starting QB, I would say 2002-2003 because I knew that Rodney Peete was not the answer going forward.

I was actually anxious to see Clausen play after we picked him. All that pro-ready notre dame runs the same offense crap sold me on him. Plus he could throw a perfect spiral, so there's that.

I knew Jake would be here for a while after '03, but as far as us having a "franchise" quarterback this is the first time we've had one as far as I'm concerned.
