Panthers are pretty much tight nit on almost everything, they certainly weren't gonna tell us about the logo change until May. Maybe they're trollin' us.

The problem I have with this is this:

at some point, in the near future, the uniforms are going to have to be modified. They already aren't liked too much outside of the Carolinas as is, and who knows how they will look with the new logo, which, considering it doesn't have an outline, I can't envision being very good. So at some point, they will inevitably have to be brought into the new era. You do it this year, and it looks like were revamping, forging an entirely new identity. You make a new logo this year, and bring in a new uniform in a few years, you increase the "Joke" meter on our franchise and make it look like were grasping at straws and doing anything for attention.

Not to mention, the hassle of having to redo all the merchandise once more in the span of a few years, and it's just absurd.

Now is the time to do this, especially considering everyone and their mothers hates those horrifying all white uni's. I mean were panthers, why so we have all white uniforms? I'd like to see some numbers that suggest they help us "cope" with the heat, because, last I checked, we had an all time losing record in those whites.

Well, don't they at least have to change the blue on the current unis? The new logo looks like a different shade to me.
