All I was sayin is Jeff was a more efficient passer and he had more accuracy on his passes the Jake did.

Wow, sounds similar to things I heard last year from Panthers fans and yet... Jake still had no true accuracy on his passes lol.. More like, lay it out there for Smith to save his ass. Having below a 60% accuracy doesn't say a guy has a accurate arm. Not to mention, we heard the same thing how Jake's arm was repaired and he was finally getting his arm back. I don't see how his accuracy is suppouse to improve.

When you have an amazing running back tandem like DWill and Stewart, who scored 30 TD's last season, you dont really need a QB to do much more than Jake did last year. If of the opinion that the playoff game was an aberration.

We needed Jake to do less actually.

Why does Hurney think that Pep won't be a problem. I jus think it is wrong how the Panthers are playing the whole Pep situation. It is like they are trying to force him to play here....if he doesnt want to i say let em leave who needs em. Yea if he did not throw 5 INT's vs the bucks, that would have been only 7 at the end of the regular season.

15-7 looks a lot more like a game manager than does 15-12 or ultimately 15-17.

Hurney is saying what he needs to say. If he stood up there and said well... We aren't going to try to keep him here anymore, we will trade him. How much do you think the compensation dropped. It's like auctioning off an item you know you couldn't use but is still in great condition and would be of great use to someone else. Do you let people know that it is of no value to you? Hell no, or you just screwed your compensation.
