Not surprising really...Andy taking him out of that position would mean Andy admitting he made a mistake and that's not going to happen.

He also knows that if next year things don't change, he will be done along with his coaching staff most likely. One last hurrah for all of them. I'm fine with it.

Eh it's sink or swim time for Andy Reed. He kinda picked his poisen when he got him to be his DC. Now he has got to stick with him (as mention earlier) or face the fact he made a mistake and basically set the "dream team" up to fail.

Castillo is a very good coach.

Doesn't surprise me that they are going to keep him.

Did people expect miracles from his as a first time defensive cord?

I actually feel bad for the guy. He did Andy a favor by moving from his offensive line coach position, which he did a damn good job of for 12 years, to being completely in charge of a unit he hasn't so much as worked with since he was the defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at Kingsville HIGH SCHOOL in 1989.

Andy set Castillo up for failure.
