ESPN's 2009 Strength of Schedule

Wow, only 6 words from the idiot loudmouth. Must have done my job in shutting you up. The Panthers didnt score 30 at Atl either but that is not what I said either, learn to read TROLL.

He's done nothing but show his homerism for his team. Call him a troll, but no need to call him an idiot. Take it to smack if you want.

And for the record, all the talking heads are going to pick last years division winners as their favorite for 2009, when we know that hardly ever happens. So to quote some talking head "expect" for picking your team to win it again is idiodic. Those fugtards are never right.

Yea, Peppers obviously has a anger problem as I can see the blood vessels popping on the sides of his temples as he responds with more anger everytime.

Carolina repeating is just unlikely. Tampa having winning seasons back to back wasent enough to pull it out. Carolina hasen't pulled winning seasons out ever in the entire history of John Fox. So, whats there to give them the edge on when the team has dropped some on the talent level.

All we lost was a player who wasn't doing well, Lucus, and we might lose one who doesn't want to be here, peppers. Also a bunch of coaches.

Yea defensive co-ordinator and some assistants. Mix that with the loss of Lucas, the lack of depth, a bottom tier secondary and bam... hard to stay positive with no improvement or real direction. Everyone is knocking on Tampa about the coaching change and bam... your in a similar position, maybe not to the same degree but its still not going to be the same team as last year. Even with the same talent pool as a base.

Yea, hard to believe 9-7 couldnt pull it off two years in a row. In 07 the Bucs who were predicted to finish last in the division took advantage of a down year in the South and fell into 9 wins which was enough to win the division. 9-7 after starting 9-3 this past season was not enough to fall into the playoffs, unfortunately. I haven't seen too many fans on this board predicting stellar seasons or even repeating the division for the Panthers, so you must have found one or two people and turned it into a hundred. Obviously you don't fully read posts and like all the Saints fans, ignore points and decide not to respond when they expose the fraudulance of their teams, i.e. 9-3 to 9-7 in my previous post. Here is my prediction: You will be here until the Panthers bash the Bucs or when the Bucs just suck, whichever comes first and will disappear into thin air like wdk and others. You're right, the Panthers have not put together winning seasons, ever, but until this last season, the team that finished last won the division the next season, so trends can end.

It's gonna be a strong schedule, but it's gonna be a strong schedule for all the NFC South teams. I have no problem with that, we'll grade out just fine, as long as we stay healthy. Pretty much the same situation for every other team in the NFL...

Yea, its nice when people will just talk about things instead of being ignorant.

.500 seems fair though with the type of schedule the Panthers face. Its not necessarily the teams they face, its how thing are stringed together that makes it iffy.

didn't read it.

LBF y are u so upsest with hating the panthers u must have a boring life to come on an opposing team forums and talk about how they r going to suck. get a life

If you wanna talk smack, goto the Smack Talk forum...

I've tried to be as honest as possible, I have as much stock in the Panthers as I do the rest of the south. We could all end up looking like the AFC West this year.

    • I've watched and listened to several evaluations from the good ole youtubers.  From what I was able to watch, the first few drives before I left to do a job to the end of the game were very different for Bryce.  So he had a "good" game.  Which is great.  I love a win, period.  His WRs had some drops, thing ripped away, etc.  Not great, but a W is a W, right? I think the Panthers have to start Bryce.  You have to see if he continues to build on the good plays and make fewer and fewer bad plays.  No QB is going to play a perfect game.  But we need to continue to see Bryce make plays.  Does he have the ability to will his team to victory?  I'm not sure. I'm still in the Bryce is a backup QB camp.  I'm glad he had a good game, I glad we won, but I need to see more before we make a decision to keep or trade him.  Playing Andy literally does NOTHING to help you for the future.  Andy may not even resign with the Panthers.  We could be out both starting QBs by the time FA/Draft season hits. Ultimately, this is a Dan Morgan and Dave Canales issue.  Can they get value out of Bryce to help them improve the total roster?  Is there a FA QB who would be an upgrade?  A surprise cut or post season trade?  Or is there a QB at the top of the draft who they think they can mold into a high level starting QB?  I don't know. I do know I want to see more of Bryce Young and more out of him on the field.  I want to see the fire, the competitor come out.  I want him getting pissed.  I want him to grab his beanbag and tell us all he's the f'ing dude.  I just don't think we'll see that out of Bryce.  If not the fire, then let me see the ice - let me see the rattle proof dude who kills with accuracy and playmaking no matter how hot and crazy it gets.
    • Ickey at LT and Brady as Center / Swing position player is more valuable to our team IMO
    • That's fair but signing a veteran like Justin Fields to a one year deal and drafting defense with our first is always an option two.  I personally don't think these QBs this year are top 10 worthy selections
