If you were GM and had someone who could be the GQBOAT....

Wouldn't your first offseason priority be protecting him on the field?

It would mine.

the refs do a pretty good job of that already

I see us going OL early and often.

not if you realize what good lines are actually composed of **hint: it's not like 8 first round picks**

I see no reason to be so definitive about this on either side. Its January 30th for bleep's sake.

I can totally see us getting Reiff/Martin (one of these two could definitely fall to us) just as much as Brockers, Kirkpatrick, Upshaw, Coples, or Ingram.

Before Cam started rising on this board last year...people were all about Fairley, Dareus, & Gabbert so...yeah.

At the end of the 2011 season our starting left Tackle was playing on this team the last time we went to the Superbowl, both our starting guards are over 30 and our starting right tackle was an undrafted rookie who pretty often got embarrassed.

I like the potential of Geoff Schwartz and Garry Williams but I have almost no faith in Jeff Otah. So who is going to be are starting right tackle next? Lee Ziemba? Byron Bell? O-linemen also get hurt much more often then WRs.

Now Look at our WR core. Smitty just got back from the pro bowl and probably atleast has two more solid years left. LaFell went from the doghouse to the definitive #2 option. Gettis showed flashes 2 years ago on possibly one of the worst passing offenses of all time. Pilares looks like a gamer. And Legadu could be rotated in and out for absolutely no money.

Oh and we have two of the best pass catching Tight Ends in the league...

Name on of the Patriots Wide Receivers outside of Wes Welker. And don't tell me Chad Ochocinco or Deion Branch.

Oh also there are some spots we could use some help on defense. I know some of you kids on here only watch the highlight real so you assume WR is the most important position on the field but please stfu about the position.

Great minds think alike. That is why I have been Suggesting we go either Reiff or Decastro for a while now. Cam made our ROL look much better then it was. There was some crappy play all around especially run blocking early in the season.

I want Reiff for 2 reason. A: Our RT is made of glass and our Backups are just that depth. Neither Bell or Schwartz are that good (solid but nothing special). B: Gross will be 32 by next season and will proabably be either overpriced or will retire in the next 3 or 4 years. Reiff will be a franchise LT by that time allowing us to remain consistent at the most important position on O (aside from QB maybe).

I want DeCastro for the running game. Just think if Otah surprises us all by remaining healthy and we have an OL of Gross, Wharton, Kalil, Decastro, Otah. That would be sick. If we go this way I want a big hoss run blocking RT later in the draft as insurance. I don't care if he is a G and those aren't suppose to go that high. Decastro is probably the best OG prospect to enter the draft in years. Personally I think a top3 G is worth a top 10 pick.

Personally, I'm a Reiff supporter if he's there but we have to keep an open mind at this point. A lot of interesting talent this draft regardless.
