If Cam was a pocket passer......then maybe more people would be on board w/ the draft OL in this draft.

Cam needs a defense. More than enough OL talent if they bring in a vet RT to put that need down the list.

most of cam's sacks came 3 seconds after the snap which is much better than most in the league.

OL and his mobility is giving him plenty of time even though we were hurting so bad on the OL and had a UDFA starting at RT most the season.

If the defense had performed even decently, then the whole OL discussion makes sense. We do need to find a successor to Gross and Otah is too soft. Still if I thought I could get by on offense with what we have, I definitiely would be fixing what I know is broken which is the defense. It isn't that I don't think we have needs on offense the question is are they as glaring as the defensive needs.

no one is denying that things should/need to be addressed on offense such as OL and WR.

it's just that defense is much weaker, has much more holes, and is more responsible for us losing games last year than anything.

Wouldn't be surprised if we go o-line. Wharton and Gross aren't old, but they won't last all if Cam's career. RG is open competition I think this year, and your first round RT hasn't played a full season in a long time and was a fox guy. So after seeing that wouldn't you draft o-line? Maybe not first round, maybe so, but I can see us drafting some "chud" guys.

I am not talking about just #1. I think we need to go best BPA (def) w/ most of our picks. 2nd rounder could have LB all over it..

.....plus, if you look at most mocks at Superbowl time (rounds 1-3)......and where guys actually get drafted it is generally vastly different overall.
