A case for getting another WR

I don't think it is that simple bleys. I don't think NFL teams are that simple. And I'm not convinced one key move for the better on offense wouldn't improve our defense exponentially.

I agree, our defense is in obvious need, and I'm not even arguing we take a WR high unless he's...Blackmon, I guess, but I think a dominant WR would add every bit as much if not more to this team than a defensive player.

philly's wideouts are soft, overrated and unreliable. They have a lot more problems than just their defense

Did you even read the article? Do not let statistics or inference based on those statistics ever get in the way of your opinion, based on a comparison to another team.

So a 33 year old WR, Gettis (unproven and coming off injury) and Lafell's 400 yard breakout season is enough?

In this offense, you need 4.

If WR is to be a weapon, you need the best. Everyone seems Ok with mediocrity. The POINT of the article is this: Our WRs are running more plays than any others in our division--including NEW ORLEANS. We lose games late. Maybe if they were fresher, we would be more effective in the second half.

Remember, getting a WR does not mean we do not fix the defense. I am thinking Super Bowl and not getting by.

Anybody who looks at these numbers and says "We are fine at WR" would have said that no matter what was posted. I have never seen a more compelling, statistical case for adding a WR. I bet we draft or sign a good WR.

Link that says you need 4? Because Smith, Lafell and Legs worked just fine this season.

I am 100% with you on getting away from Foxball... but how do you come up with this opinion considering the defense really needs work in order to accomplish success in the future.. To me, that's a pretty good reason considering we've already made DRASTIC changes to get away from Foxball...

I won't be mad at all if we grab a WR via FA or early in the draft next year...

I don't think anyone is against getting a new wideout. It could be anyone from Joe Adams to Eddie Royal to Meachem to Vincent Jackson for all we know.
