LOL, just think of it as "vintage".

In the meantime, I'm thinking about all the stuff the Panthers are going to have to replace including the two giant logos on the back of the scoreboards and the enormous logo at the east gate... I'm sure those are part of the 12 million dollars worth of stadium "upgrades" they are considering.

That'd be an overkill. What bugs me about the new font are the slashes on all the other letters. Especially the R in Carolina. My eye catches the slash in the two As, but the R's slash is up higher and it just throws my eyes off.

Chin looks like a ball sack... The lazy eye doesnt bother me at all... Its for depth perception.... Makes sense... More 3d look with the new tech out there...

Just an observation but perhaps more evidence revamped unis are on the way... if you look at the "3 slash" design on the "A" of the Panthers in the new logotype, it looks like the same type of "3 slash" design featured on the numbers in the Nike jersey layouts.

First off, you don't let fans run the asylum. Fans don't care about the future and would make all kinds of radical changes that looking back would be embarrassing to the franchise. And 2nd off, these changes are relatively minor. It isn't going to make or break the team in anyway.
