based on the context of the article it looked like the Panthers were waiting for an unveiling of an updated uniform to display the new logo as well. I don't expect it to be a dramatic change but I think there will be some minor enhancements to match the logo.

also I don't remember a lot of instances where teams just changed their logo without updating the uniforms. Usually these two things go hand-in-hand.

i think the jags changed unifroms without logo changes. Who knows what were doing

they changed the type on the logo, not the jaguar head graphic itself

in our case both the graphic part as well as the type is being modified.

I like the old one better but it really doesn’t matter to me in the end. Just think with all the new panther fans coming they wont even know we had an old logo. This is all they will know. lol

The changes to the logo were not "dramatic" either, so this makes sense - I think they'll just get "updated" like the logo.

This is my favorite part. It looks freaking incredible on black without the white outline.

Wow. I thought it looked pretty awkward on a lighter background, and this illustrates why. I'm wondering if this means black helmets? Seriously, it stands out a lot more on black.
