The website gave a reason for losing the white outline. Not that that doesn't mean a helmet change, but that's not why they said they did it.

Idc what they said about the new logo, rodeo put it on black and it looked retarded. I dont see black helmets happening, cause silver is still where its at.

I agree. Silver helmet with black tops and pants. They said they lost the white outline to make it more dimensional looking or something to that effect.

I've always hated the silver. Unnecessary. Like the Packers having green, gold and silver. The black and light blue look sharp together. Black helmets (or white), black or white jerseys, and white pants at all times. All with the blue trim. Clean, classic look, like the Cowboys, Steelers, Colts, Packers and every other NFL team that doesn't need gimmicks to be successful.
