Help! My Xbox360 game is scratched

Reason companies stopped fixing them is because the machines they use to "refurb" those disc did actual more harm than fix. They basically put tooth paste on the disc and out it on a buffer, that buffed it so fast that it warps the disc. Like someone said earlier just borrow a friends disc or even go to red box and either switch the disc or install from the disc then return it back to redbox. I'd honestly just install from the disc.

I don't mean to come off like a rich asshole here but why not just go get another one? Its just 60 bucks.

Even if you have to pay full retail for it the likelihood that you'll get 60 hours of enjoyment out of it is high and that's just a dollar an hour. (Presuming of course you played the destroyed copy at least that much)

Even more reason just to replace it.

Why burn a lot of time trying to fix it when you can replace it and spend the time doing something you enjoy.

Yeah the full scratch can't be fixed. I don't really play video games but my old roommate had that happen on day one with his new madden. He took it to the store though and got it straight up replaced without telling them the reason for no charge. Give that a try

Easist method of fixing scatches in dvd's and blu rays is....

Furniture polish!

Seriously, take the pledge, spay it on the disc, take a soft cloth or soft paper towel (viva) and rub it in, going from the iside of the disc, out.

DO NOT USE CIRCULAR MOTIONS.

This has worked for me every time.
