Why??

I do not see any reason to believe he should be drafted that high. DT's that come in and have an impact their rookie year are very rare. In addition I see nothing special done by him to prove that he would be a part of that rare breed. I personally think taking a project or someone who would take time to develop with a top 10 pick would be a waste. I understand how desperately bad everyone would like to have a playmaking DT but I just don't see one who can come in make that kind of impact immediately.

edit: fugged up thread title due to posting from cell shoud have said "question for fans of taking Brockers with our first round pick"

He would be better than anyone we have, but the reason we draft players is not just for next year, but several years after that. His upside is tremendous.
