Three things that could be tweaked:

1. Steroid neck. Probably stuck with this because blah blah if you squint and it's really dark in the room it resembles the outline of both states blah blah.

2. Right eye. Why is kitty winking?

3. The more I look the less I like the blue collagen lip.

These are all minor and I do think it's a massive upgrade over what we had.

Edit: CatsGrowl beat me to two of these. Also makes a good point that this is a trace from the gloves pic, so probably not 100% accurate.

Why is everyone all over the right eye,the right eye on the old one is smaller also may be it's perspective... I agree about the steroid neck.

I think mostly people are excited about a new look to our team, and to the organization. Identity is important, and the logo of the team is directly associated with the identity.

Throughout the history of this team, we've all had to deal with the transplant Steelers, leftover Redskins, bandwagon Cowboys fans etc. I think a new logo and an update will bring even more awareness to a team who's home state population needs some more consistent pride and allegiance. Newton is bringing a new identity to the Panthers, and pairing that with a new logo can turn into more awareness, respect, and appreciation.

You may rather watch Team Black versus Team Blue, if so you could always root for the Browns, as they might suit your interests more, their logo is just an orange helmet.

point was i don't care. i don't have a preference. i thought i made that clear. logos, initials, no logo...whatever. i don't care. just play the damn game.

I think they're both not bad. I think some work could be done to make our logo incredible. I do like the idea of switching the logo this season (if it happens). Like Rhys said, our team has a new identity now. Cam + Shockey brought so much to this team, attitude wise, this season, that it now needs to reflect in our appearance and amongst the fans.
