Possible new Panthers logo leaked from Nike

Because of this thread, I just ordered a black Reebok premier Cam jersey. Gotta have Cams "rookie" jersey if we're updating our logo and have slightly altered jerseys next year.

I did that prior to the season. I figured we may change, and at first that put me off to buying one, but started to like the idea after waiting for a little bit. I mean anyone who didn't see something like this being possible has like no foresight.

This was exactly my thought when I bought one this year... wanted the Reebok logo on it if nothing else to prove that it was an original.

I imagine the stripes, which I've always liked, will be one of the biggest targets for "modernization."

Yeah, wouldn't make sense to modernize the logo and leave the rest of the uniform intact... including the stripes on the helmet.

My guess is that they're going with a black helmet and blue stripes, I suspect this is why they used heavier blue lines in the new logo, to make it stand out from the black helmet more then the old logo would have.

For the record, the gloves are still up on Nike's Facebook page. Not sure where the rumor that they weren't came from, but you have to go to "Nike Football" not just "Nike" and make sure you don't click on the soccer one.

You guys realize that the blue part is not a lip, right? It's the chin. Also why the hell are you so locked onto one specific line in the overall logo?

Yeah, that was my bad - original link in this thread lead you to a page that said it was "no longer available" but the image is still up on both Nike's facebook page and Nike.com.

For the record, I posted a link to the panthers gloves and tagged both my brothers yesterday..therefore it should show up on at least my wall...well it is no longer there... *cue twilight zone theme*
