I miss Doom.

There are still tons of active Doom/Doom II deathmatch servers out there.

One thing that kind of surprised me is that there is a ton of interest in Doom 64-the disregarded/forgotten Nintendo 64 port from 1997-to the extent that there are two conversion/restoration projects for it that have ported it to the PC. One of them is an exact copy of Doom 64 (http://doom64ex.wordpress.com/) and the other is like a "deluxe" expanded version with a few different monsters, levels, and a few other wrinkles (http://www.doomwadstation.com/doom64/index.html).

If you want to get past the speeder bike part of BattleToads you almost have to memorize it.

The Battletoads series was designed as an arcade game to eat your quarters, there is honestly no redeeming quality to it at all.
