Although money never changed hands, Cam's father did pitch him to Mississippi State. That is a fact he has acknowledged and does not deny.

Actually, a runner associated with Miss State (Kenny Rogers, a former MSU player) pitched TO Cam's father the ability to get his hands on some money.

Now, bad on Cecil for having anything to do with it initially. But the offer was pitched to HIM, not the other way around.
