Top 10

1. Luck

2.Kalil

3.Blackmon

4.RG 3

5.Coples

6.Jeffery

7.Zach Brown

8.Ryan Tannenhill

9.Clairborne

10.Reiff

We will select a very good player at #8/9.. I can only hope that mostly offensive players are picked before us, pushing all the defensive players down to us. I could see 3 QBs, 1 RB, 1 WR, and 2 OTs picked before us. (wishful thinking).

Tannehill is also a very talented prospect 6-4 220 and runs a 4.5, has got athletic ability and a pretty good arm. So it's not surprising to see him at 8th overall.

Brockers is very raw and hasn't displayed dominate pass rush moves, that's going to hurt his stock during the draft process.

Kirkpatrick now has off the field question marks to go along with questionable speed (he's expected to run around a 4.5)

fwiw, brandt was the biggest cam supporter out there last year.

gil brandt's opinion >>>>>>>>>>>>> mike mayock's opinion.

i may not agree with some of them, but i'm going to give it more credence.

I don't think just because our guy panned out means his opinion means more. Plus, Mayock said the ONLY reason he thought Cam would not be successful was because Mayock thought Cam would be satisfied making all of that money, he said he had no athletic celing and COULD be a mega-star. Nobody saw it coming, simple and plain, but I am glad it did. Because of that pick, I know we will get OUR guy wherever we draft.

i guess him putting together the 90's cowboys didnt help either. but he did see the potential in Cam while Mayock jumped on the he is not serial train. amazing how people assumed he would be content with money when his pass showed he was a hard worker.......

gil brandt's opinion has always mattered more.he actually has a clue of what to look for and what things really matter. he knows what teams look for and he's got tons of experience.

brandt is a lot more highly regarded as well. he may not have the national recognition in the media that mayock has, but within the industry brandt carries more weight.

zack brown is the tarheel i want in this draft.

He's looked pretty physical in the senior Bowl, if he runs a 4.3 like he should if he's fully healthy and in shape. If the Panthers want to draft him, they might have to do so at 8/9th overall. He looks more like a NFL safety to me, but if he proves that he can hold the edge effectively as a LB, then I have no issue with the pick.

That would be nasty with him coming off the edge on blitz's.

    • Saints and Seahawks both making a push for Cooper Kupp The Rams receiver has at least two teams that are very interested in signing him. According to The Athletic, the Seahawks and Saints are both making a push to sign Kupp. The Seahawks could certainly use another receiver after trading DK Metcalf and cutting Tyler Lockett. As for the Saints, they don't have a ton of salary cap space, so it will be interesting to see if they can meet Kupp's asking price, which is apparently around $13 million or $14 million per year.
    • The intent behind the question wasn’t bad, it’s just how he framed the question was kinda goofy. I’m surprised people like him can do media professionally when they aren’t good public speakers. I wonder what he gets paid to do this.
    • Running back Kareem Hunt is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year contract worth up to $2.5 million, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Friday.   He returns to a backfield led by Isiah Pacheco that also added former San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell this week.   Hunt, 29, joined the Chiefs for his second tour with the team early in the 2024 season after they placed Isiah Pacheco on the injured reserve list. Hunt led the Chiefs in rushing with 728 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns in three postseason games.
