I mean, if you dont want to read about it, here's an idea;

Just as you, and others have the right to post threads over and over again on nickname threads, we have the right to come in here and say enough already. They have great names already. Strong names, proud names..and all you can do is sit here and worry about stupid nick names. The best nick names are ones earned....and here is a hint, fans don't pick those.

But if you want to continue the non stop nick name threads, go ahead....but don't expect everyone to agree it's a great idea. If you don't like the flack from it, then stop posting them in the first place.

Yes, you have the right to post in the nickname threads, but that doesn't mean you have to. It isn't like I'm sitting by you at a game ranting about nicknames the whole time. We are in a -forum-. You don't have to click on a link. Just like, if I don't want to see the mating habits of a whale, I don't click on a link that says "Mating Habits of A Whale Here."

It isn't that difficult. You are all just getting bent out of shape because the Panthers are doing good and all of you have nothing better to bitch about.

EDIT: By the way, what gives anyone the right here to decide what is relevant and what isn't? If someone wants to discuss souvenir cups, by all means they should. It isn't up to anyone (besides perhaps Zod) what does and doesn't get talked about.

Oh, and I'm not getting bent out of shape. I'm sitting here laughing with a beer in hand. Cause nick name threads were old the first time they were posted, in the pre-season. I don't bother getting bent out of shape about, but I certainly still enjoy going into these threads and pushing your buttons! Nothing to bitch about? Who's bitching besides you still going on about needing some nicknames, and you bitching about those of us who come in here and say enough already?

I understand being proud of our guys, but like I say, the best nick names "sweetness" are earned.

Would like to pose that question to the person who started this thread. Unless he's complete ignorantly, he had to have known that people and admins on this board have been tired of the nick name threads. So why post something that is just going to add more fuel to the fire?

I didn't just post to piss someone off. I posted cause first of all, it is my opinion. Second, I'm more than tired of this stuff, so if it's going to continue, I might as well enjoy it with stirring the pot a bit. Nothing wrong with that.

I just call them Deangelo and Stewart. Maybe sometimes D and Stew. I don't see why we should keep forcing this. You keep this up and you get awful nicknames like "Sonic the Panther". Who knows, maybe if we keep this up, eventually everyone will agree that Sonic the Panther is a great nickname.
