They look like they're making up as they go cause they are. Marching bands do that all the time in their real halftime shows. Like if they all stop moving for a section of music and its jazzy or something, the director will tell them to just bounce and sway around for a moment. Idk why, thats just how they do it.

I think most teams have some sort of band that plays in the stadium. Seattle has Blue Thunder. The Ravens have the NFL's largest marching band. The Skins, Bears, Jags, Broncos and a few others have drum lines.

The only thing I don't like is their corny name - Purrcussion.

it always drives me nuts when harding's marching band is playing outside of the stadium... one of the worst marching bands in CMS

Actually they're one of the best in the nation. A few years ago they were invited to Obama's inauguration.

not by true marching band standards... they lack true musicality and discipline, they're just popular because they kind of figure out how to play music (<-- using that word loosely) that's on the radio now

i graduated from Vance in '04 and was a part of the band that won several awards and grand champions... back then 90% of their band wouldn't have even been allowed to carry our instrument cases

by you being in the band you should know that there are different styles of marching.UNC band will never do what NCA&T does or vise versa. 2 different styles.

I was on the Concord High drum line that was invited to march in the St Patrick's Day parade in Dublin, we were ranked 19th in the nation and won all but one competition in four years.

These guys are ok for what they are, but they could do much better. Hell, I'd just get Carolina Crown's line to come in, or any DCI line. Would be awesome if they got the Madison Scouts who have a huge drum line.
