Get rid of the rat hotline at BOA Stadium!

Never understand this, but if people want to sit down in quiet and relax while watching something...do it at home in the comfort and peace of your own home. If I spend that much money on a ticket you better believe I'm going to leave every ounce of energy I have the stadium.

That's part of why the Panthers have such a garbage home field advantage. This isn't golf. As bad as the Raiders and Browns tend to be, they have an amazing fan base presence at their games.

That's part of the reason my family bought tickets in the end zone, when the team came to town. They told us how they wanted the panthers end zone to be loud and proud, like Oakland or Green Bay. Now it's a bunch of blue hairs.

I've been to Oakland and they have a great group of people down in the Black Hole but I saw the same jerks I see everywhere as well. IMHO I think that we are just as good as anywhere else when we are playing well, almost as good when we are bad. The difference is that we have so many transplants living here that will root for other teams when they come to town compared to most cities.

I hate to say it, but the transplants are probably the reason we have a team. Outside of Charlotte, this region of the country ain't exactly the socioeconomic powerhouse that you'd expect at an NFL game (outside of Pittsburgh). Once you cross into Cabarrus County, for example, you see far too many mullets, the ground is covered with cigarette butts, and "dressin' fancy" means a flannel shirt, jeans and work boots. Gaston and Union Counties are even worse.

As bad as BOA is, remember how it was during latter part of the Capers years. At least people are finally learning when to cheer.

That's the problem. BoA needs less dress ups and more mullets, and flannel. People who actually know how to have a good time by using emotional energy. Need to replace "ALRIGHT! THAT WAS EXCELLENT!" with... "#%!# YEAH THATS THE #%!@ I'M TALKING ABOUT!! GET SOME!!!".

...but people are way too sensitive and use children as an excuse to come off as politically correct, even though their children hear that crap all day long.

That's true. But if it ain't lottery tickets, cigarettes or booze, that particular crowd ain't buying it.
