There's no where near the amount of talent as last year's draft. There's not a lot to get excited about even if we did have a first rounder.

The good thing is there is solid talent through the mid rounds at the corner and defensive end spot that Carolina can work toward.

Seems every year while you guys are drinking beer and partying at a draft party, I am sitting in a field babysitting some other folk's teenagers as part of the Boyscouts. This year will be no different as I will be at the Dixie Fellowship with the Order of the Arrow.

Don't think I will miss much this year. Then again if Peppers gets traded it could be huge news. Hope my cell phone gets good reception.

I'll be jumping between flights in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines during both days of the draft, which is horrible timing, but at least I'll get to see it all when it's done, instead of waiting impatiently for each round to go by.

Well it seems to be a weird draft. The 4-7th round picks will actually be better than average but the top of the draft is going to be extremely mediocre with the exception of the first 10-15 picks or so. Trading away our 1st this year paid a lot more dividends than we could have imagined at this point last year.
