i have to..but i dont think its that..if the eagles dont do this..they are crazy

There's also the "Alvin Harper" syndrome. Great number twos with one team don't always translate to great number ones elsewhere.

In fairness, Boldin was actually around and doing well before Fitzgerald. Still, there's going to be that concern.

Peppers for Boldin sounds like a good deal. Your headache for ours. It would make the October Cardinals/Panthers game must see TV

Smith/Boldin tandum would be scary. Peppers/Dockett/Dansby/Wilson would be really scary

Nah, Jake is just fine and everyone praises him for everything he does and still offers your team. I've said multiple things about Jake's bad side and people flip out. Hope you don't mean what your saying DT28 as there will be some unhappy people who'd like to have a word with you.

Jake sucks, we should only keep him to groom our future starter, whoever that may be.

From Rotoworld, just now:

ESPN News passes on a report from Sal Paolantonio that the Cardinals have lowered their asking price for Anquan Boldin.

The Cardinals are now seeking just a second-rounder and "other considerations," with one team reportedly "all over" Boldin now. The Jets, Giants, and Eagles have expressed renewed interest, and there were likely be more teams joining the race. Cardinals GM Rod Graves said Friday, however, that an extension is more likely than a trade and "the probability of him remaining with us is pretty high." Apr. 24 - 2:40 pm et

How about a 4th or 5th this year and a 2nd next year?

Smith, Bolden and Muhammed with our running game... oh my.

Smith/Boldin tandum would be scary.

So would our DLine if we give up Peppers and don't get some draft picks in return. And not scary in a good way.

How about a 4th or 5th this year and a 2nd next year?

I would do that in a heartbeat but I doubt they take it. Not to mention we probably don't have the cap space anyway.

I'd be more worried about your own QB before spending so much time trashing ours, just sayin'...

Darren Urban, the Cardinals beat writer posted this on our board, not the entire article but lays it out.

"General manager Rod Graves said Friday given the dearth of trade offers for wide receiver Anquan Boldin, the probability of Boldin remaining with the Cardinals is “pretty high.”

“Our priority has always been to extend Anquan at some point and we felt before doing so we had to at least explore opportunities a trade might present,” Graves said. “We have done that and the process is still not over, but it looks as if him staying with us and at least the possibility of an extension seems more of a reality that a trade.”

Graves said the Cardinals have received exactly one trade offer – he did not say from which team or what the offer was – but the Cards “didn’t feel it was very significant at all and we have had no other interest expressed.”

Later, Graves said the trade offer -- which was on Thursday -- “didn’t come close to something we would consider.”

Graves' comments were made at about the same time of an ESPN report that said teams had renewed interest in Boldin because the Cardinals had now lowered their demand in a trade to a second-round pick."
