Coples at Senior Bowl

This is why I don't read Bleacher Report look who they have us taking in the 4th round...

Round 4, Pick 103: Donte Paige-Moss, DE, UNC

Having already taken a defensive tackle, the Panthers will then look to add depth to their defensive end rotation. Paige-Moss provides great value as a fourth-round pick and although his production hasn't been overwhelming, his talent stands out for a third-day pick.

Paige-Moss is one of the most athletic defensive linemen in the draft, and he has the natural strength to accompany a great burst off the line. With solid technique, he can edge rush or bull rush, depending on the lineman he's matched up with.

The Panthers would like to look for a cornerback at this pick, but the depth just isn't there in this class, making Paige-Moss a very attractive option for the team's first third-day selection.

Jaguars might take him before us. Thats pretty much it

If he continues to impress like this at the combine, pro day, interviews & individual workouts (which is very possible), he will be gone by the time we pick. He has enough good tape on him from his jr. year to make many teams stay in love with him.

I think he will. Marcell Dareus was a mid 1st round pick this time last year.

I understand these guys are doing their jobs, but I don't put alot of stock into questioning guys' character, because its a guessing game. Even with questionable behavior you don't really know.

Are you getting Pacman Jones? or a Warren Sapp, or any of the other guys they question and ended up being great.

no one has questioned his talent or athleticism.

the thing is, no one has seen him play a complete game either.

he's got serious motivational problems and he's a bad seed in the lockerroom.

of course he's going to look good this week and say the right things...he's trying to get a job. i just hope that the team that drafts him understands that they are going to have to work really hard to get him to give 100% and i really hope that team isn't us.

It's easy to say that depending on how you view the tape. I've seen him play plenty of complete games out of position and play well enough to get on the national radar long before spring practice started for anyone this past season.

Also, I have never heard about him in the locker room. I would like to know about that. That could be a deal killer for me. I imagine there were plenty of opinions about attitudes last year though what with the firing of the HC days before regular practice begins. Bad situation down there. He kept his name out of it by keeping his nose clean but he suffered just as much as those that were dismissed. Hell of a team they had.

If people think Coples has a motor problem they are stupid. That is all.

However, my personal opinion on the guy is I would like to see him put on 15-20 pounds and move to the inside. That is where he played last season and made a big splash on the national scene and I think as a pass rusher he has more potential at DT than DE.

Having said that I think people should also know that he is a beast in the run game. So much so they teams would rarely even run the ball to his side. But I don't think he will be an elite pass rusher but more of a well rounded DE.

And I have never, ever, ever heard anything about him being a problem in the locker room.

Plus his arm brands are disgusting to even look at.
