On talent alone he's the best CB in the draft.

At the very worse he'd rank out so slightly behind Claiborne it'd be inconsequential.

Like to hear that Ingram and Allen had good days. I would like to see us take Allen in a middle round as a FS.

Word from the draft guys so far is that Coples, Ingram and Upshaw are standing out DL wise.

Most are saying Coples looked pretty good today, not as good as yesterday though. So what did you see that you didn't like. He got stood up a couple of times, but was also held a lot and still dominated most of his 1 on 1's from what I saw.

When they say you actually got blocked today, that's saying something about his day 1 performance.

False. Word from your one source on espn that you listed is that they like those guys. And while Coples' performance yesterday was rightfully praised, it isn't today, and as I said you'd have a difficult finding others who agree with you.

He didn't get much penetration (twss) and was stood up quite frequently. He didn't seem to turn it on until the full contact drills came up (which is an issue considering "effort when he feels like it" seems to be one of the raps following him), and even then failed to make any notable plays, with the exception of that one nice bull rush I previously mentioned. This is a projected top 10 draft pick who looked pretty average out there today in comparison to other players who had nice days.

Can be bounce back tomorrow? Sure. I'm not being down on him. Merely giving a report.

If Jenkins is as good as touted then I'd have no problem taking him at 8 or 9 given he understands what is expected of him on and off the field.

Take him in the first, DT or FS in the second and I like what we have on defense.

As for Coples, I'd take him in a heartbeat if I thought he was fully committed.

I don't know who or what position McNut plays, but I want to draft him based soley off of his name. I'd order a McNut jersey in a heartbeat!
