FWIW, According to Danny Morrison, from 10 ft away the Nike jerseys will look exactly the same as the current jerseys (asked him myself @ Panther Talk)

Someone might want to tell that to Nike:

“We plan on changing the NFL jersey dramatically just like we’ve done with the college programs, using new thinking and the greatest technology available,” Denson said. “The NFL program hasn’t had the same type of advancement in recent years."

I think they might be talking about the actual jersey technology(more lightweight, breathable, flexible, etc) more so than the style of the jersey.
