I watched the entire Baylor vs Washington game. This was the only time that I had seen Ta'amu play, and I can honestly say, he looked like pure sh!t. He was being double teams the whole 1st quarter, the rest of the game they were able to single block him with not a lot of problem. They were gashing him up the gut on his side several times too. I wouldn't draft him in the 4th round based on that game alone. The knock he has is that his lower 'base' is not well proportioned to his upper half.. which is what Cats growl is basically saying.. his rump and legs are thin and will not be able to hold the point of attack at the NFL level with just upper body strength, which is what he has.

I watched the entire game too. Anybody who wishes can go watch that entire game on youtube and come to their own conclusions. You can also watch the entire Washington vs Washington State game. He is anything but pure sh!t. I also watched last years games and he played much better due to no hand injury.

Like I said.. I just watched a single game, and he was horrible. I watched Ta'amu on every play, and he was blocked out man on man with no problem. Hence his poor grade on that game. I am sure he is a much better player than that game showed.. but watch that Baylor game again, and I think you could probably agree that was his worst game of the season.

Alabama outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw and South Carolina defensive end Melvin Ingram were among the players off to fast starts at Senior Bowl practice on Monday, according to ESPN's Todd McShay.

On Upshaw, McShay said that he "showed power as both a run defender and pass-rusher. Upshaw is not an elite speedster, but he used leverage well and consistently won with quickness and power during one-on-one pass-rush drills."

On Ingram, McShay said that he was able to "diagnose plays quickly, and he also used power and quickness to win the majority of his matchups during one-on-one drills and the team period."

Arkansas receiver Joe Adams was another SEC player making his mark on Day I in Mobile, Ala.

McShay said Adams "showcased his speed and showed good quickness off the line and in and out of breaks. Adams also displayed impressive hands, catching everything that was thrown his way."

That's good news for Adams because the only real knock on him throughout his college career was that he could be erratic catching the ball at times. But when it came to making things happen in the open field, Adams was electric.

Former Florida cornerback Janoris Jenkins also impressed McShay, who said Jenkins hasn't lost a step since transferring to North Alabama. Jenkins was the one cornerback who wasn't afraid to challenge Adams and didn't give him a lot of cushion.

Some targets that many on this forum expect to get a hard look are looking impressive early on.
