How many calories do you consumer per day?

Ok... Never done that before... Counted them up for today and it was less than I expected. Around 2200, which is probably a hair low since I only had a turkey sammich for lunch... So I'd say around 2500-2800 daily and sometimes 3000. I figured it would be like 3500+. I'm 6'0", 220 lbs, how many calories DO I need? I honestly don't know.

I have been eating much better but I can do better. As hard as I've been working out I need to try a little harder with my eating. I've been trying to get more protein in my diet.. I've been getting around 120 grams a day in and I can definitely noticing gains.

anyone ever use an online personal trainer? any of you clowns want to volunteer? maybe we need an accountability thread on here?

I don't have time to babysit you. Get off your ass and workout.

I talk to boo's bf... me and him try and one-up each other with weight lifting accomplishments. I'm winning... :D

Hawk. let us know when you get up past 100 lbs on the bench press and we'll chart your progress... :p

OK, so you count your workouts as negative calories? How the hell do you know how many calories you burn working out? If I do the treadmill or bike it tells me an estimate, but if I lift, I have no idea how many calories I burn...

Treadmills and bikes are usually off with calories burnt. Someone that is serious into counting calories in and out would use a heart rate monitor during exercises for a better idea of how many calories burnt during the session. If not, go with what the machine tells you. HRM are not accurate for lifting weights and how many calories burnt. Have to guess for that.
