Lots of fans here would blame Mare in a similar Panther game. That kick should have never been nessessary. Even made, it only would have prolonged the better teams victory.

Except for the fact the Ravens outplayed the Pats today, then yea the Pats were the better team...

Sucks for the Ravens, they just can't seem to get over the hump. Soon they'll be losing Ray Lewis and Ed Reed to age. Would have loved to see them get another Super Bowl ring.

1st off, Flacco could have ran for the 1st because it was 3rd and 1. they settled and put the game in their kicker hands and you see how that ended. dont put the game in your kicker hands.

And if they do that, there wouldn't be much time left. According to the announcer, they had one time out. They would have to call it when they picked up the first down or spike it very quickly. Then they have one shot at the end zone before kicking the three. Might as well just take the shot at the endzone on the 3rd and one, and lessen the risk of a mistake.

The field goal was a chipshot and should have been made. Can't blame the playcalling.

Rewinded the Tivo.... the Defender clearly made that play... Put his hand right on the ball and knocked it out... that was not a drop... just great defensive play

Disagree. He had 2 hands firmly underneath the ball, he just didn't grip the ball like he should. It was more of a lack of concentration on Evans part for not having a firm grip on the ball than it was on the DB for sticking his hand in.

I agree with you. Flacco could have easily ran for the first down or maybe more but instead threw an ill advised incomplete pass. To make matters worse they ended the game with a timeout wasting in their pocket.

They only had one timeout left.... if he simply ran the ball they would have had to burn their last time out, almost ensuring a FG... atleast he took a shot down the field.
