A guy with a water head and an injured neck that has been worked on by the doc's three times? If i were the Colts id jump on it. And Cardinals, remember the last time you signed a past his prime HOFer? How'd Emmit Smith work out for you? LOL sad.

I thought you were going to go with Kurt Warner

Would be a great move for the Cardinals. We invested a 2nd rounder into Jimmy(not quite comparable because Kolb got ridic money, but still) and moved on after it failed. Cardinals have a pretty good team, a healthy Manning would definitely push them into playoff contention.

I'm more curious what the Colts asking price will be. I wonder if it comes out to being one or two 1st rounders either this year or the next and a couple later picks. I'd imagine the best case scenario for the Colts is to trade Manning out of division to the Redskins for 2012 and 2013 1st round picks and a few more picks.

:lol:cards just showing how dumb they are.

wow. kevin kolb = matt moore but they paid kolb like he was an all-pro. after one season finding out that it was the system that made kolb look pretty and that he was really a mediocre QB they realize how stupid that was. so they want to fix it by going after an old QB due $28mil or whatever who has had 3 neck surgeries in 2 years?

Nobody is going to give the Colts anything knowing they HAVE to cut him if they don't want to be handcuffed.

Fwiw, I can understand why the Cardinals would risk it. Anytime you pick a QB, its a big risk. Andrew Luck is a risk for the Colts. To win Superbowls, the front office has to take some risk. And at least with Peyton Manning, they know that they have a good qb if the health issues can be overcome. And if they can, the Cards become an instant contender.
