Later round punt returner?

I think there is a good chance that we look for an actual punt returner in rounds 5-7 this year. AE has not panned out and lacks the speed for the job. I don't see him making the team.

So, who is available in the later rounds that would fit the bill?

Joe Adams or Chris Rainey please. IMO you can't teach someone to be a return guy, you have it or you don't. Guys like Hester and PP7 are made for it. Guys like Armanti are not. Draft somebody who is a potential game changer please.

Edwards will likely make the roster in 2012. He surely will make it to camp. So it will be up to him to put up or shut up this year. We wouldn't cut him until final roster cuts I would think. We might bring in a few guys who can return punts or kickoffs as long as they can do other things as well. Plus we have guys like Hogan who were return specialists who haven't had a chance to show what they can do.

Please God no. Sure he can be explosive, but dude fumbles too much and doesn't have the greatest hands in the world. 6 fumbles alone this past season. Plus, he's a projected 3rd rounder-ish right now and even in the 4th I wouldn't touch him.
