I knew it would suck and will not see it. Just from the previews you knew. It has a kid from 90210 in it. The previews show them in the cockpits clear as day hootin and hollerin. And if I had to guess, the music is not of the period. I hope I'm wrong on that account! It's a gimmick movie probably made way too quickly. They just want butts in seats, not to tell an amazing story.

Spike Lee should've directed it. His movies are kickass 9 times out of 10.

Love seeing anything about the Air war over Europe, but yea this does seem like it will be a Pearl Harbor type of flick.

Are you kidding? It should have been awesome. Combine the geek factor of seeing all those WWII aircraft with a halfway serviceable plot and the visuals/subject matter makes it an instant classic.

The way you describe it, sure, it should have been good. Based on the trailers that I saw, no I'm not surprised at all.

the effects aren't what's expensive. CG effect work is cheap as hell these days.

I'm surprised people thought it would be good. A WWII tuck airmen movie marketed with dubsteb didn't interest me

That's good news - I've read a ton of reviews this weekend on it and the gist of it is that its supposed to be a campy WWII movie, teens should like it a lot...but I would like to see the other movies made that get a bit more into the training portion of it.

I've read a ton of books written by these guys and all of the stuff they went through was amazing. They basically made real civil rights happen in the US by sheer stubbornness.
