Should Norwood move back to LB?

Thats why Godfrey got the extension. He is a guy who stays late studying film all the time. I think he will keep improving every year and be our best safety in history

That would be awesome. But it's a tall order. Minter is still one of my favorites. So to ME he's the best safety we've had.

I would like to see him at LB. The kid likes to hit people, or at least it looked like he did at SCAR. I like players like that and I think Rivera does too. They may not be seeing eye to eye right now. I think this may have to do with what position he fits into in Ron's eyes may not be where he wants to play. Just a guess.

He is one I thought I would really end up liking when we snatched him up. I thought it was good athletic value with a mean streak to boot but we have yet to see it materialize. May never.

Kinda feel bad for Norwood. But if you cannot get playing time on our D what does that say for you?

Who knows, maybe he will put in the work this offseason and show he is ready to take the game seriously. Not even sure that would be enough to keep him around another year.

He does not get playing time with the D-line, ain't sure he will ever get playing time at LB. So there is really no where for him to play.

I guess Capt, will be the only Gamecock left this year. And GOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wharton hasn't been cut.. and he may not be.

Norwood was not able to make it on the d-line. If he can't show something in the backfield in camp, he's toast. The draft will be heavy on defense so everyone will be on notice. Rivera is the man and he will keep only those who produce.

Not true, don't forget about Travelle Wharton.

Regarding Norwood, if he remains a DE he will probably be cut within the next couple of seasons. On the other hand, if he's moved fulltime to OLB, he would be much more valuable to this team.
