We just need to dump JC period. Free the spot for someone we could use. As far as a back up or #3 QB, I see no reason why we can't use AE to fill the #3 role at least. My goodness, the man was a QB in college and should surely be able to fill the emergency role at least. He might be able to handle the #2 spot - never know unless he's given some reps in pre-season. Whats would be the harm in giving him 1 or 2 drives with the 1's in pre-season? Cover two positions for 1 roster spot. We traded up to get him - might as well get our monies worth.

I am in favor of finding UDFA that might have similiar skills and at least sign them to the practice squad.

like Anderson because no team is going to sign him to start, he will likely sign another one year deal and Clausen may get cut and a late round flier will be taken on a QB, though i cant predict who. i personally would like to see Aaron Corp in Washington, so i hope they dont get him, maybe they would take a late round flier though on John Brantley.

A darkhorse candidate maybe Charlie Whitehurst, reports are that the Seahawks may not re-sign him. He is already fimiliar with Chud and Rivera so it makes sense.
