I'm not sure I understand why people blame Fua for our deficiencies in the run game, McClain gets thrown around like a rag doll because he has extremely poor technique. Sure he penetrated sometimes because of it, but the rest of the time ge gave up containment on his lane.

Since when are you guaranteed anything if you are not a 1st round draft pick?? If you dont show enough to get on the field you will be cut. There are undrafted players starting on other teams over draft picks simply because they are better. Best man will play.

the real question is how people come to the conclusion that 2 3rd round rookie DTs are supposed to be NFL vet starters, fully knowing it usually takes 2-3 years before they adapt to NFL play...

The answer is everyone clamoring to add Brockers and OR Still in the upcoming draft. Defensive line talent is notorious for taking time to develop. I do not see us addressing the position until next draft. I do see us looking at DE if Coples lands with us. CJ, McClain, Edwards, Coples could be the new Dline. Also Garay could be brought in as insurance if Edwards does not come back 100 %.

coples should be a DT when he enters the league, of course he'd have to gain some weight.

personally i'm scared of that guy in the first round, esp. in the top 10.

the dude's motor is very questionable as is his attitude. in fact is sucks. the talent is there, but he's got all the makings for a underachiever and a bust. any time you have to say "maybe we can get our coaching staff and other players to get his head on straight" you are asking for trouble.

i like garay being brought in, but i want a guy in the first round with a solid work ethic, relentless motor, elite potential, and a solid base of talent to work from.
