Thought of a draft day trade

Dallas trades #14 and their second for Dre K.

Carolina:

1.14 Michael Brockers, DT (LSU)

2.9 Mike Adams, OT (Ohio State)

2.14 Janoris Jenkins, CB (N.Alabamba)

Probably won't happen, but I thought I'd share it.

That's appropriate value for the move up. I don't like Brockers in the top 10, but he would probably be the BPA around that pick. So I wouldn't hate it and it would be good value. I'd rather the team go Safety and CB in the 2nd. Try to get a Olinement in the 4th and go LB/DE/ST the rest of the way.

Yeah they'd be giving up too much, not sure why would they'd have to throw in a 2013 3rd. But it's hard to predict trades.

Janoris might not fall to that spot.

The more interesting trade that I see is with Cincy. Our 8 overall for their firsts, 17 and 21, I believe. We might have to throw in a mid round pick next year.

I like the value of picks in the range of this proposed trade. It just seems like you can throw a rock and hit more good prospects than at # 8.

Wishfull thinking. Dre got busted for pot. His value may drop to mid first round. Take Decastro OG or best OT with our 1st. Otah is in his contract year and Hangartner on Schwartz are FA. We need depth and we need youth.
