And Cam Newton's situation was more based on media speculation and not based on facts. The incident that took place with the lap-top was found on Smoking Gun dot com. The only fact is, there were about 4 different versions to the incident posted on the site. The only continual fact that ran throughout all four versions was what Cam did with the lap-top.

In all fairness, the same thing could be said about this Kirkpatrick arrest. His friend has already come out and said he bought the weed and Dre was just in the car.

Getting busted 3 month before the biggest day in your career shows a lack of decision making and intelligence. This organisation will not take the risk on someone that high in the draft, who can't show some kind of self control.

And i'm sure they will take someones opinion into consideration that can't even spell organization.

He was busted with a small amount of a "drug" that is becoming more socially acceptable than it has been since before the Marijuana Tax Stamp Law of 1930 something.

Cut the crap, he smokes pot so what. He's not Jerome Simpson having pounds mailed to his house. At 6'3 he would be a supreme 2nd corner and we would no longer have to worry about the no. 1 no.2 corner debate. Than you have Hogan who is smaller as a nickel back.

I'm sure around 70% of the people on the message bored have toked up at one point or another. He won National Championships. Played with NFL caliber players his entire career. He would step in and be ready from day one. I'd be happy with the pick considering the new dback coach who seems a lot like a Chud of his trade.

Now, if you all want a wide reciever in the second or third. We need to take a long hard look at Brian Quickk AQs much as Cam likes to just throw up passes. A 42" vertical on a 6'5 WR will help out a lot. Yes I do have an App State bias which all of you despise, but i've seen 30+ games he played in person and i've seen several NFL games. Jerome Simpson is the only guy i've seen that could possibly out jump Brian Quick. Except Quick is a solid 3 inches taller and has an 81 inch wingspan.

Shockey, 6'5. Olsen 6'5, Quick 6'5, Gettis 6'3, Lafell 6'2. We'd be set.

Rant over.

Highly doubt that, but I would take him in a second

I dont see the Browns drafting RGIII when they could trade down or nab Michael Floyd or trade down to get him. When all of your WRs have just 8 TDs to show for thats a big problem.

This year in the draft, I have a feeling that we could go in any direction, and I really feel like we will get someone we really like, and who will be a player for us. I think since we can have contact with our players and training staff, we will have a better understanding about our players and where they are returning from injuries... I could see us going best LB/OL available, and possibly Blackmon if for some strange reason he is there for us.

If they are available when we pick, then it's a safe bet to say we will take one of them.

True. And if both Claiborne and Blackmon were there, I think you would see us go with Blackmon. I would love to have both of those guys, but see us going best OL or Upshaw from Alabama. What I would like, is to trade down and get Hightower from Alabama, and a 3rd round pick.
