I still can't believe at one point in its history, it was basically had the potential for profit at the same level as as Disneyworld and Disneyland. It was like 3x the land size I think

my grandmother lived there after she followed my family south from PA

i still go down there every once in a while just to see how creepy it's gotten... and it's bad.

the crazy part is... those condo/apartments that are showed in link ARSEN posted... still have people living in some of them. there's also an RV 'park' near the barn/church that still has people living in it as well.

Went down there a couple of years ago and it is indeed creepy. A crazy goose also attacked my family while we were walking around, and I had to confront and distract it while the wife and kids got out of range which was pretty surreal.
