Just for those of us not too knowledgeable of all of the mockers; who is this guy?

Poe as the #1 DT will surprise some people and Barron being ranked that high may get people talking

If you look from pick 7-14, those are all players that could help us out

he's basically just some guy with a website. he usually does as good a job as any mockers out there. profiles and scouting reports are pretty good. nothing spectacular. he's had a few mocks that were pretty good in the past.

i agree with him more than i disagree. he was one of the punks that disparaged newton last year and has yet to say he was wrong or even give newton credit for what he did. people asked him about it and he basically said give him time. he has yet to be proven wrong about him. that was halfway through the season, though.

he loves to give the panthers DEs from carolina so he's pretty predictable in that regard, so he mocked coples to us this year. i asked him about that and i think what he said was "then where would i put coples because he's too good to slip further" which intimated to me that he's more looking at where to put players rather than trying to look at the actual situation and fit the best candidate, if that makes sense.

kind of "i've got to put *insert hyped UNC DE* somewhere. i know...panthers have a low sack total and they like DEs from UNC because they drafted one once second overall so that's this guy taken care of."

he did mock newton to us close to draft time because it was pretty obvious but he let it be known that it was a big mistake and probably was going to be one of the worst picks ever.

aside from that crap he's ok i suppose. his rankings are usually pretty good as is the assessments but he's far from perfect.

Yep, he's pretty much just a big Football fan/junkie who happens to be a part of the FWAA and gets game tape.

I think Barron could be an interesting prospect as the months go by. I really think we're going to try and find Martin's replacement. Barron in the first or Markelle Martin in the 2nd wouldn't surprise, or bother me.
