Panthers vs. Cowboys MNF

I understand this is a big deal because the Panthers are on MNF and are opening the new Dallas stadium on MNF, but what about the Cowboy's team makes them a good match-up with the Panthers? The Cowboys haven't been legit contenders since 96.....

Yea, and Beason might aswell get use to Ware overshadowing him his whole career while we are at it.

The two players don't play the same position and are in completely different systems. They weren't even drafted the same year. Why would one "overshadow" the other one?

QB - DAL

RB - Car if Dal only plays 2, since they use 3... Even

WR - Car

TE - Dal

Oline - They've had top offenses for how long? Yet Car is better nah, not yet.

Dline - Most agree, Dal

LBs - Debateable, but not like any of your linebackers will hit more then 10 sacks

DBs - Dal hand down, Gamble is good but no Newman, rest of your secondary isn't worth mentioning

ST - Dal hands down

I hate to feed the troll, but how do you come up with this logic? So because Jake rarely checks down to a #2 receiver, and NEVER checks down to a 3rd, would you give Dallas the edge on WR too? Because they are more pass oriented and will spread it around to 3 or more different guys?

I usually don't post much but this is just dumb. That linebackers statement is borderline retarded (sorry). A. We don't blitz...ever. B. The reason that ware gets 10+ sacks unlike our linebackers he plays a three four outside linebacker which means that he basically plays a hand down DE at least half of his plays.

Sorry for feeding the troll but i just couldn't take it.

Ware only got more sacks then your linebackers and Peppers combined right? Trying to use this or that as a reason for not getting sacks is just a weak argument. Ware alone combined for more sacks then the majority of your team combined. Hows this suppouse to show your linebackers are any better then their linebackers? Also, Dallas had a better pass defense with more sacks and if your linebackers aren't getting sacks.. what is it they are doing? Making very few plays that even make a difference in the game? But yea, Carolina hands down has a better linebacking Core.

Not too great of logic, just looks like your trying to make a excuse for a defense that doesn't cover anyone or stop any plays in the backfield.

So now you are on a Panthers board talking up another team....rather than your own. You do realize that that officially qualifies you as a complete and utter fool?

How does it feel to be the fan of a team with a ton of cap space....and still unable to sign a decent FA. Haynesworth told the Bucs no....Vilma told them to pound sand. The Bucs are a franchise on the slide...plain and simple.

Go back to logging or whatever it is that your sorry little ass does....glad to see that elementary school education of yours is not going to a complete waste.

I'm comparing one team to another in this thread, which happens to be the Panthers and the Cowboys. I'm a fool because I'm showing that your entire defense struggles to even produce what DeMarcus Ware alone provides the Cowboys?

Also, you better start learning how to respond to topics on hand and stop making personal insults. I doubt you want to face the ban hammer, as your consistently abusing forum rules. Are you unaware that it is permitted to constantly make personal insults to other board members? I mean if its alright for you to do so, I'm sure a good amount of people can come to this forum and follow your lead here.

So chill on the insults or see how it turns out for ya.

The only thing I'm a victim of is listening to a handful of over zealous Panthers fans (not everyone) claiming the Panthers are the gold standard in every phase of football... No matter the situation, who their compeition is, or Carolina's history of struggling to win year after year. Carolina is inconsistent at best year to year, whether its good or bad. You never know what to expect the year following a good/bad season.

I stick to my code of conduct of posting and let haters spew their garbage. Just make sure you don't make any personal insults here... that could be a big mistake.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
