Will John Kasay Get a Statue next to Sam Mills outside of Bank Of America Stadium?

the statue will just barely be off the stadium property for irony and convo starters for future generations.

Dad?

Yes son?

Why is John Kasay's statue just below the Moorehead bridge? Shouldn't it be in like front of the stadium?

Remember when I told you about the Panthers first Super Bowl?

Yeah?

Well ya see.....

Again, for what ? What has he done? His Job ? Make kicks ?

If he got one, I imagine it'd be for being the original Panther, and the last of the originals to leave.

I wouldn't complain if he got one. Wouldn't bug me that much if he didn't either.

If he does, it should look like this:

When it comes to guys like Kasay, Delhomme, Walls and others. I'd much rather that the Panthers had a "history room" like some other teams have inside the stadium. Less honor than a statue/ring of honor, but that way they're not just forgotten.

I live in the Winston-Salem area and have been in the Bridger Field House at Wake Forest University's football stadium a few times. It's pretty cool seeing guys like Arnold Palmer, Bones McKinney, Brian Piccolo, Ricky Proehl, Tim Duncan, and a bunch more honored in their "Hall of Fame". They also have a large area labeled "Heritage Hall" that has a lot of exhibits including NCAA golf championship trophies, Duncan's Naismith award, etc.

It'd be cool to see something similar at BOA stadium for the Panthers. Good idea for a "History Room" Mr Scot.

KT hit the nail on the head. The next statue needs to be Jerry Richardson, then Smitty. But, seriously, Jerry Richardson should have one after before the season starts.

Richardson won't let that happen while he's alive. He won't even let the stadium be named in his honor.

Smith? Probably the best argument. I'd feel better if we got to another Super Bowl with him first.

(granted, I'd feel better about that for numerous reasons)
