I dont....I like having it so early. So that way when the team gets on a roll halfway through the season, and our RB's are smashing everyone, we dont have to breakup the momentum.

That is if there isn't some freak injuries occuring that stop your backs from smashing people. Always have to bring the wild card factors into play.

In the 2003 season, the Panthers had the bye in Week 3. Didn't seem to hurt them down the stretch or in the playoff run all the way to the Super Bowl.

Yea and Carolina going 12-4 last year having a bye week in week 9, and the Bucs having it in week 8 this year. Pretty interesting.

I don't mind the early bye as much as I hate the 4PM games... but that's mainly selfish as I just hate to wait for the game to come on AND like several of them last year, we miss the first quarter if the early games go over...
