Spags and Mike Nolan in the running for New Orleans and Atlanta DC Jobs

Most people don't realize that there are a ****TON of great defensive coordinators out there. Spags defense was pretty terrible with the rams but was amazing with the giants. Even though Chris Long had the best year of his career. Spags is good, but people are acting like he is the second coming of Jesus Christ and will instantly turn a defense with a tremendous amount of mediocre players and little cap room into a top 5 defense. When he couldn't do this in 3 years with the St. Louis Rams with much better players on that side of the ball.

Spags wasn't the DC in St. Louis.

Want to try again?

Gotta give this man some pie. He is right, Spags was not the DC in St. Louis and we all know that a HC has nothing to say about either the O the D or the ST.

Spags barely had a top 10 D in his two years with the Giants and they had WAY more talent that you guys. People love him because of one single game.

Saints will have the worst D in the South next year... Mark it down.

HAHAHAHA 2007 Giants had 7th ranked defense 2008 Giants had 5th best defense. So much for barely being in top 10.

Now for the fun part. How many Probowl defensive players did the Giants have in 2007 or 2008????????

1 Alternate in 2007

1 Starter in 2008

WAY more talent than the Saints. LMAO

You guys have to be wondering how the best offense in the history of the NFL now has one of the best defensive coordinators in the game.

If it were the other way around I would turn my TV off for 7 or 8 years

Again you just can't see the writing on the wall. Williams bails while the getting is good and Spags come limping in after failing for 3 years and getting fired from the lowly Rams. Trying to resurrect his career riding on the coattails of the offense knowing he only has to be better than 24th to improve. Hoping he is up to it given the challenges ahead. Saints fans desperate after losing to the 49ers, needing to believe that Sapgs is an upgrade and Williams didn't leave because he knew that the Saints had peaked. Looking back to 2008 for some glimmer of hope. Yep next year we are going to win on the road.

Are you really using Pro Bowl as way to show who got talent? Really?

Oh

Giants D was 17th in 2007 and 5 in 2008. So over the two year span he barely got a top 10 D which was my point. He did however stop the unbeaten Pats with their great O and that is something he still get creds for today, best DC in the game? Come on, you didnt even signed the best in the NFCSouth.

If Bucs sign Zimmer you have the 4th best defensive mind in the division.
