Saints should lose at least 4-5 key starters this offseason

I love it when people make comments like, "he is really committed to this city/ organization." What is he supposed to say? "I hate this fuggin city and carry this fuggin team, if they don't pay me a fug load of money to stay in this cesspool then I'm Audi 500."

You have no clue. I love Cam Newton and Steve Smith, but they could be complete douche bags. I have never met them. Even if I did then I would take anything they said with a grain of salt. You know why? I have twitter and apparently the ability to post on an internet message board. I assume you don’t know Breesy either. If you aren’t Brees, his wife, or his BFF then you have no clue what he is thinking. You posting what he is thinking or what he will do as fact makes you ignorant.

In my happy little mind I would love to think that in 4 years Cam will say, “Man, <insert large market team here> is offering me $40 million a year more than Carolina, but PantherAZ will be really disappointed if I leave.” I’m just going to go around and tell everyone that I know that is exactly what he is thinking.

I personally think that Brees does come across as fake. Could that just because I hate him and the Saints? Maybe. Yes he gave a very heartwarming speech after he broke the record. I was touched. Then again he’s not going to say, “Fug you all, I broke this record in spite of you fugs. I would have done this years ago with a real team.” There were 30 cameras on him.

Brees has already said he will play until 40 so 8 more years at least. He is probably in better shape than any other QB in the league. Google his workout program and you will see why.

So if he retires in 2020 you guys might have a chance. Until then get used to playing in the same division as a Superbowl winner that holds the record for most yards passing in a single season and has thrown a TD in every game for 2 1/2 years. LMAO man it would suck to be in the NFC South and not be a Saints fan.

Cam would bitch slap this workout. As would I

1. Robert Meachem is not a key free agent

2. Since the 2009 Playoffs, Tracy Porter has been very inconsistent, making only 2 interceptions in the last two seasons.

3. Jo-Lonn Dunbar, while underrated, is not by any means a key free agent.

4. Aubrayo Franklin is a 3-4 NT at best, we learned this the hard way.

5. Shaun Rogers was decent, however he's on the wrong side of 30 and would be cheap to bring back, if we do at all. Neither he or Franklin fits Spagnuolo's system.

As for the big three, Brees will be back and that's about all I can say for them. However, our front office has an eye for talent in the mid to late rounds, so I trust them to bring in the right personnel.

Saints just somehow seem to get it right

"Those guys are important pieces to the puzzle. I love both those guys," Brees said. "I mean, Marques, man, he's been my guy for six years. And we've been through a lot together. And certainly Carl Nicks, with the level he's at, it's hard to argue that, too. Obviously, he's one of those guys up front that keeps me clean. So both those guys are pretty critical. Meachem's up as well, that's a critical piece. Tracy Porter's up. Here's the thing, every year you're in this situation. This is why we've got one of the best in the business, Mickey Loomis, and our scouting department and our cap guy. You grind on the numbers and you find a way to make it work.
