Wow what a surprise on a Panther forum. You do know this is a Panther forum, right?

Ya know you would probably fit in better on PSD than here then you could take on the whole NFL.

Right. So choosing a healthy Dan Morgan over a healthy Witherspoon.... who would you choose? Id take Morgan. IN A HEARTBEAT. Thats what the front office was thinking. A gamble we lost, but we developed BOTH talents.

Moose got greedy and got his check from a dummy that would sign for it, now where is he? Because we made him who he was, and he thrives here, cheaper now at that. We won that.

Draft was never worth what he thought he was, and we knew that. He was a jack of all trades but a master of none for the linebacking core. We let him go and he's done nothing since. But yet his best years were here.... can't develop talent huh?

Foster was given his opportunity, as was what he earned. His play fell off traumatically without having someone to soften the defense for him. But he was a good role player and an excellent back up. More than earned his first few years, but was cut after his second chance.

canned response...typical panther sheep.

make all that up yourself did ya?

CR - lol just saved me the effort. Don't forget to throw Kris Jenkins and Moose in there, sure they got Moose back... but why let the guy leave in the first place?

Oh yea, Kerry Collins.. didn't he take you to a NFC Championship game within 3 years on a expansion team? Handled him wonderfully.

Throw the best Panther in history into this mix and bam... great managment.

Another example of why people shouldn't talk when they know nothing about anything. Moose wanted #1 receiver money, we weren't willing to give it to him because we didn't feel he was worth it. And we were right because he didn't do very much in Chicago, and he came back to us for a lot less money.

Kerry Collins was an immature idiot when he played for us in his younger playing days. Hence the DUI and racial slur incident with a teammate. Ultimately, he decided to be a quitter...and he went on to suck as a backup for the Saints before finally cleaning up his act when playing for the Giants.

Jenkins was posturing for a new contract and didn't want to be here. I would have liked to keep him, but the reality is that he was a locker room distraction, showed up to camp overweight several times and isn't worth the mega contract he has now. He was successful for the first half of the season for the Jets, but faded down the stretch.

Funny a Bucs fan would talk about how a front office should handle things....how did that whole controlling Keyshawn Johnson thing work out for you? You guys really did a good job of controlling Jake Plummer when he decided he'd rather retire than put on a Bucs uniform. How does it feel to be the only team that was willing to take on one of the biggest turds in the league in Jerramy Stevens?

Jangler - Yup, its a panthers board... full of biased Panthers fans who are blind to how the NFL actualy works and how situations truly are in the NFL :D.. But hey, they like the Panthers so.. HOOOOO-RAH!!!

Atleast carolinarolls isn't as retarded as the vast majority when it comes to knowing about football and how processes should be handled :)

you're a real twat. just because I can look at a situation and analyze the thought process involved instead of looking at it going "OH NOES WE LOSTED MOOSE!" :banghead: doesn't mean anything more than the fact you are a fan of this team is mind boggling.

You and LBF trot along to a wooded glen now and blow each other to the dreams of fox being fired and hopes of actually being right about anything

1. I'm the least biased Panther fan I know, bordering on not being biased at all.

2. Your a fool who needs to be banned. You've done nothing but start trouble since you got here. You complain about personal insults, yet you said I'm a stupid ass. Thats a personal insult, as you see it. Quit ******* Talking!

The only reason I responded to this is because it was made visible, which I hope doesn't happen again.

Moose did nothing with Chicago.. wait, wasen't he the Bears top receiver that reached the Super Bowl? He definatley did nothing worth mentioning there lol...

So Collins having a racial slur isn't as bad as a Panther punching another Panther in the face (Smith and Lucas)... but hey, Smith is a class act.

Peppers like Jenkins wants out of Carolina and is a locker room distraction, yet you guys are hanging onto Peppers by every ounce of energy possible lol...

The Keyshawn thing was handled the way it should have been, he became a distraction so he rode the bench and said bye bye... Compare that to the current Julius Peppers situation.

Jake Plummer deciding to retire was not in Tampa's power, they did what they could to bring him in and Jake ended his run in the NFL because he wanted to be a baby.

Feels awesome to have Jeramy Stevens has a Buc has he's came up pretty good and even won some games for us. Good receiving threat and he'll compliment K2 at the TE spot. Now if Stevens had contributed nothing and we took a risk on him, what you said about him what make a difference. As it doesn't then you might aswell give up on that argument.

MMH if you didn't know, you can insult people directly on this forum as I was made aware aslong as it doesn't get out of hand... All the times you've said "your a fool." as a response with puting nothing into the conversation on the topic's subject and calling me a assclown just shows that your stupid ass should put me on ignore as your responses are complete garbage and have no value when it comes to reading them. So stop your whining and move along please.

funny that you analyze each situation and the Panthers who are a perpetually average franchise always seem to some out smelling like a rose in some VERY questionable scenaros in history.

yeah, you're credible.

There is more to credibility than being just contrarian or always agreeing to be sure but a track record is a track record and if you can honestly post those lame ass excuses for those three situations then yoiur track record speaks for itself and screams HOMER.

Witherspoon over Morgan I said is one we lost, but I could see where the thought process is coming from. That one slipped by us pretty badly.

Other than that one, yeah Id say we handled the situations pretty damn well. Chicago did nothing with Moose there, they rode their defense and Thomas Jones and Devin Hester all the way to the Super Bowl. He wasn't worth what they paid him. It was proven in the stats, and the fact he was cut.

If you think Moose was the reason that they reached the SuperBowl you're dumber than I thought. No, it had nothing to do with their 1st ranked defense and had everything to do with Rex Grossman and Moose. I'm sure dimbee and some other Bears fans will really back you up on that one.

So Collins having a racial slur isn't as bad as a Panther punching another Panther in the face (Smith and Lucas)... but hey, Smith is a class act.....

Collins had the racial slur, the DUI, then told our coach to his face that his heart wasn't in the game and he didn't want to be the starting quarterback anymore. His teammates at that point obviously had little respect for him. Why would you want someone like that leading your team. And comparing it to Smith is a huge stretch. Yes, he made a dumb move, but apologized, served his suspension, and came back on the field to give 100% like he always has.

Peppers like Jenkins wants out of Carolina and is a locker room distraction, yet you guys are hanging onto Peppers by every ounce of energy possible lol........

There's a bit of a difference between calling out your teammates and coaches publicly in mid-season like Jenkins did, then Peppers wanting to play somewhere else after the season. I'm not the biggest Peppers fan either, but once again you're comparing apples to oranges.

The Keyshawn thing was handled the way it should have been, he became a distraction so he rode the bench and said bye bye... Compare that to the current Julius Peppers situation..

Not comparable, see above.

Jake Plummer deciding to retire was not in Tampa's power, they did what they could to bring him in and Jake ended his run in the NFL because he wanted to be a baby..

Sounds similar to Kerry Colllins. But we mishandled that and you didn't. Makes a lot of sense.

What games has Jerramy Stevens won you? You say Panthers fans overrate their players yet are saying that Jerramy Stevens won games for you. High comedy.
