Charlotte Observer Commenters...

Have got to be the biggest bunch of idiots on this planet. I usually read the comments for laughs (especially Panther articles) but sometimes they take it too far.

Only Observer commenters have an article about what's closed on MLK day shut down...only a few guesses what they were talking about.

Anyone else ever seen a news site with this many idiots?

The Winston Salem Journal now requires a facebook account to post comments. Its less anonymous that way. It has cut down on the number of comments, and especially the crude ones.

Yeah I saw some of the comments before the close and they were awful. My point was how bad does it get for the paper to close the comments artilce about what's freaking closed for MLK day :nonod:

News sites and Youtube are the worst...I never look at comments anymore (never knew why I ever did)
