Jeremy Mincey, Jaguars, age 28-Franchised.

Also according to Walter Matt Roth, DE/OLB, Jaguars, age 29 is the 6th UFA on the team. That should make him mine still.

Him and Josh Scobee was ranked the same. and he is a far better prospect in FA than a K that sucks. remember you will have the advantage of signing him back and if you want to get rid of Josh go ahead.

So who is working out how much the franchise tag costs?

It's the aggregate of the top 5 players at their position, right?

I say this because a lot of teams have franchised players - this is going to seriously hinder their ability to play the FA market. Or it should.

yeah, uhh last year was the first year we did the free agency thing so we were just trying things out. some things worked and some things didn't, you really shouldn't have just copied and pasted the rules over

the franchise tag needs to actually cost what it really would, letting people have a free tag makes the majority of the franchised players completely unrealistic

And so does only picking 5 players going into a fa pool, which doesn't make sense.I think you should be more worried about why you have Donnie Avery on the Rams roster.

Perhaps but a team like my Giants only has $7 cap room, maybe I can bid on a peripheral Special Teams player but that's about it, I'm gonna lose all my free agents. If it was to be realistic you'd have to allow for players being released or restructured as it is in the real world to make cap space.

Or go with a suggestion I already made. Give everyone 1 free Franchise Tag and $30 Cap Room.

thats the other thing, going by straight cap space is dumb because teams like the bucs and cheifs are going to have a TON of cap space but in reality they never use it so it's not like they'd really have that much money to spend. they have an internal budget. meanwhile teams like the giants will max out so in reality they will tend to spend more than what they're cap space indicates

    • The Chiefs are STOUT against the run. I don't know how we move the ball. They're going to key on Chuba and dare Bryce to hear them with his arm.
