Don't know how many of you remember this old song (look it up if you don't) but it turns out there actually is a player whose father listens to the games, but can't watch them, because he can't see.

The player in question is Jason Pierre-Paul of the Giants. ESPN did a story on his father, Jean Gabriel Pierre-Paul, has been blind since Jason was eight months old.
