Cam working out

From CatScratch :

We have independent confirmation from ESPN Analyst Trent Dilfer that Newton, at least so far, has been a man of his word:

"He's watched every snap of this season already on his own. He's not missed a day in the weight room. He's already running," Dilfer told the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club on Friday at Carmel Country Club. "He's already training as if it's the heart of the offseason."

Dilfer also talks about Cam's influence on the team:

"This place was awful. Terrible. It was unwatchable," Dilfer said. "And here comes this dude, he comes in and he just changes the team. Not just his play, but his personality. The energy he brings to the situation is incredible."

Dilfer also said Cam did more for his team as a QB than any other QB in football.

Killa Cam is comin people...and he ain't gonna stop!!

(He's been working out at BOA btw, for any interested parties)

Cam said he wasn't going to take a break until after the Super Bowl, because in his eyes that is the end of the season.

It's a great attitude, and one that hopefully permeates through the rest of the team.

I also think the guy is just a football junkie. That is one of the things that makes him so unique. He has the talent and the love for the game.

Those who spent less time listening to the so called experts and their "concerns" about Cam's work ethics would have realized that about him a long time ago.

yep, i heard that during a panther game, i think either Aikman or Buck said that Newton told them he would workout during the playoffs. i agree, it's great attitude and shows that he's a hard worker, as i thought he would be.
